Food Intake

Avoid Salt and Fatty Foods: Salt and fat will affect your cholesterol and blood pressure. Keep off such foods within the three days prior to your evaluation. Preferably, those who can manage should do it for a week, but the bare minimum is 24 hours.

Don’t eat for at least two hours before the exam to keep blood sugar and blood pressure from elevating. Twelve hours of fasting is preferred, so try to schedule your exam in the morning so you can fast overnight.

Essential to Sleep

An 8 hour sleep is essential before undergoing any medical examination. This will help your nervous system remain healthy and also reduce your blood pressure

Refrain from exercising or doing any physically strenuous activity the night and morning before your assessment. Your heart rate as well as your blood pressure may increase because of physical activity.

Liquid Intake

Keep your blood pressure down and avoid caffeine for at least one hour before your exam.

It’s recommended that you avoid alcohol for about 48 hours before the test.

Documents Requirements

A photo ID that includes personal details about the patients.

For a medical examination it is essential that patients carry documents that include their medical history and current medications that are being taken by them.
